Zacatecas Is Funding a Maiden Drill Into 2,340 g/t Silver Rock

Zacatecas Silver (TSXV: ZAC; OTCQB: ZCTSF) is raising to put a drill bit into some eye-watering grades. The company announced a non-brokered private placement of up to C$2,500,000 to fund a maiden drill program at the Oso Negro silver-gold epithermal project in Sonora, Mexico, subject to TSXV acceptance.

Here is what makes Oso Negro loud. The Prospecto and Tere vein systems span 3 km of combined strike and, in Phase 2 rock-chip sampling, returned up to 2,340 g/t silver and 14.8 g/t gold. Those are high-grade epithermal numbers on a target that has never been drilled.

The upside case writes itself: an undrilled high-grade system finally gets first-drill-bit catalysts, and maiden holes into surface grades like these are exactly the kind of event that can re-rate a micro-cap.

The risk is just as real — rock-chip samples are surface grab results, not width or continuity at depth, and maiden drilling can fail to confirm what the outcrop teased.

Funded, permitted-in-progress and pointed at big grades. The drill will tell the truth.
