Webuy Global Books $4.76M at August NATAS Fair — 42% Above March — as Shares Jumped 22.3%

Webuy Global Ltd. (Nasdaq: WBUY) posted preliminary unaudited travel bookings of approximately US$4.76 million across the three-day NATAS Fair held 21–23 Aug at Singapore Expo Hall 5 — a 42% jump from the more than US$3.34 million the company recorded at the NATAS Fair in March 2026, per the company's August 31, 2026 news release on GlobeNewswire.

That works out to nearly US$1.6 million in bookings per day across the three-day event.

The split: Webuy Travel generated approximately US$3.74 million, while the company's premium Altitude brand added approximately US$1.02 million — roughly 21% of total event bookings. CEO Bin Xue put it directly: "The performance at NATAS reinforces our view that customers are responding to a broader range of differentiated travel products, including the premium experiences offered through Altitude."

During the fair, the company deployed experienced travel consultants alongside AI-assisted customer engagement tools designed to support demand understanding, product matching, and frontline sales execution, per the Investing.com report covering the release.

One necessary disclosure the company included in its August 31 release: these bookings represent the gross value of travel products reserved during the event and should not be interpreted as revenue recognized under applicable accounting standards. Booking figures and recognized revenue are two different numbers.

The market reacted sharply. WBUY shares jumped 22.3% following the August 31 release, and in pre-market trading the stock had already moved 13.3% to $0.94, per reporting from Benzinga and Investing.com. The most recent session price on record prior to that move was $0.82999998 as of August 30, 2026, with the stock having traded between $0.83 and $0.87 that day, per Macroaxis data.

Size context: as of August 30, 2026, Macroaxis listed Webuy's market capitalization at $4.63 million, with an enterprise value near $3.86 million, approximately 5.2 million shares outstanding, and a workforce of about 109 people. The $4.76 million in three-day event bookings — gross, not revenue — exceeds the $4.63 million market capitalization listed for the company as of August 30, 2026, per Macroaxis.

No comparable NATAS Fair booking data from peer OTA or travel micro-caps was available in accessible sources to provide direct sector benchmarking.

Per the August 31 release, the company has not announced a follow-on event or forward booking target. The August NATAS result now sets the baseline against which subsequent events will be measured.
