Vizsla Copper's Thira Discovery Keeps Growing — 304.8m of 0.48% CuEq

Vizsla Copper's Thira discovery in British Columbia just keeps getting bigger. Hole TH26-154 punched through 472.8 metres of 0.40% CuEq, including a meaty 304.8 metres of 0.48% CuEq — that's 0.29% Cu, 0.022% Mo, 1.02 g/t Ag and 0.05 g/t Au.

Vizsla Copper (TSXV: VCU) is drilling the Poplar Project in central B.C., where the Thira porphyry is shaping up as a real system. The first two holes alone included 675.2m of 0.40% CuEq, and the results have been remarkably consistent.

Here's the upside: every single hole hit porphyry-related copper-molybdenum mineralization, defining a footprint of roughly 800m by 900m. Best of all, that footprint remains open in most directions — meaning the discovery has room to grow well beyond what's been drilled so far.

The bear note: porphyry systems are typically lower-grade and capital-intensive, and a growing footprint is a long way from a defined, economic deposit.
