Silver North's Two Rigs Are Running at Haldane — First Five Holes at ALS, September Assays Due

Silver North Resources (TSXV: SNAG) has drilled 10 holes totaling 2,550 metres at its Haldane Silver Property in the Keno Hill Silver District of central Yukon since late June, according to the company's August 13, 2026 news release. Core from the first five holes has been sampled and shipped to ALS Laboratories. Management expects to start receiving analytical results in September.

The benchmark hole setting up the current program is already on the books: hole HLD25-31 returned 818 g/t silver, 1.39 g/t gold, 2.54% lead, and 0.98% zinc over 13.15 metres at the Main Fault target — a result that helped define 100 metres of strike and 150 metres of downdip extension at that zone, per the August 13 release.

One drill has now been moved to the Bighorn Target to follow up silver mineralization intersected in the only previous drillhole there, while the second drill remains at the Main Fault. The 2026 program is expected to continue into October.

Executive Chair Mark T. Brown, in commentary reported by Streetwise Reports on August 20, 2026, said the company has encountered high-grade silver, lead, and zinc, along with smaller amounts of gold, in approximately 80% of its holes. Brown outlined an investment case built around grades from previous drilling, continued expansion around the Main Fault, testing of additional targets, and the property's location adjacent to Hecla Mining's producing Keno Hill Silver Mine — which sits directly next to Haldane's 8,579-hectare, 429-claim footprint, 25 km west of Keno City.

In an August 20, 2026 news release related to a royalty transaction, CEO Jason Weber, P.Geo., commented on the Haldane Property's potential. Readers seeking his verbatim statement are directed to the August 20, 2026 royalty transaction news release sourced via SilverSeek.

Silver North closed a brokered private placement for aggregate gross proceeds of C$11,576,985 on February 10, 2026, and the company has stated it is fully funded for its 2026 and 2027 drilling campaigns, per Streetwise Reports. As of August 13, 2026, the company carried a market capitalization of approximately CA$25 million, with a 52-week share price range of CA$0.185 to CA$0.57. Management and strategic investors hold 14.6%.

On the exploration side, Silver North also commenced work at its Veronica Property, where float and outcrop sampling has identified silver mineralization prospective for Carbonate Replacement Deposit style mineralization — similar, the company notes in its August 13 release, to that seen at Coeur Mining's Silvertip Mine Project, located 11 km to the southwest of Veronica.

Analyst targets cited by Streetwise Reports during the August period were maintained at US$75 per ounce for the zero-to-three month window and US$90 per ounce for the six-to-twelve month window, with investment demand expected to continue recovering.

The week of September 8–12 brings August CPI on September 11 and the ECB rate decision on September 10, per the economic calendar at The Right Trader. The Federal Reserve's next scheduled interest-rate decision follows on September 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET.
