RTB: Roundtable's DeFi Ad-Payment Platform Goes Live on Coinbase, $100M Ecosystem Migrating, Shares Now Trade on Coinbase

Roundtable (Nasdaq: RTB) dropped two headlines simultaneously on September 23, 2026: its real-time DeFi/AI advertising payment platform is live, and RTB shares begin trading on Coinbase the same day.

The platform, announced in a September 23, 2026 GlobeNewswire release out of London, settles advertising payments in USDC the moment ad revenue is earned, routed through smart wallets linked to journalists' Coinbase accounts. Coinbase supplies the crypto wallet infrastructure and USDC payment rails.

The migration target is concrete: a ten-year partnership to move 21 major media brands — covering hundreds of journalists and nearly 100 million viewers — off a Web1 platform where manual fiat payments currently take 90 days or more to settle. The advertising volume tied to that ecosystem is $100 million.

Coinbase's Head of Strategy, Institutional, John D'Agostino, described the rationale directly: "Coinbase is thrilled to support Roundtable's use of USDC and blockchain-enabled payments to modernize media ad sales, empowering creators to finance their content production by dramatically reducing payment lags," per the September 23, 2026 GlobeNewswire release.

The September 23 go-live follows an earlier build-out. On June 22, 2026, Roundtable announced that nearly 200 professional publishers were gaining the ability to receive USDC the moment ad revenue is earned — that earlier announcement was the publisher onboarding phase. Wednesday's news is the platform running live.

On the board side, former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss joined Roundtable's board on September 18, 2026, five days before the platform launch. Per the September 23, 2026 GlobeNewswire release, Truss stated: "I'm honored to join Roundtable's distinguished technology leaders and senior media executives, offering the highest level of technology - purpose-built for human-led, professional media."

The company behind RTB is the product of a merger: RTB Digital, Inc. closed its combination with RYVYL Inc. (formerly Nasdaq: RVYL) on May 13, 2026, with RTB common stock commencing trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market at that time. As of September 16, 2026, the company carried a market cap of $129 million on 14.5 million shares outstanding, per the GlobeNewswire release.

On the financials: trailing 12-month revenue as of June 30, 2026 was $13.1 million, per the same release. The company projects $90–$100 million in 2027 revenue and expects to reach annualized Adjusted EBITDA-positive operations during 2027. Those are company projections, not third-party estimates.

No real-time RTB price or volume data for September 23, 2026 was available at publication. What is confirmed: RTB shares are now listed for trading on Coinbase as of September 23, 2026, per the GlobeNewswire announcement — a distribution point that did not previously exist for the stock.

What's next, per the release: the full migration of the 21-brand, $100 million ad ecosystem onto Roundtable's Web3 MediaOS and DeFi payment platform under the ten-year partnership.
