NOA Lithium Has Two Rigs Turning on Its Argentine Brine

NOA Lithium Brines has two rigs turning in the heart of Argentina's lithium country. At its Rio Grande brine project in Salta Province, both drilling rigs are operating — and the second one just hit a milestone.

Rio Grande sits in Salta's salt-flat brine belt, the geology that feeds a big slice of global lithium supply. Well RT-RG26-PW002 has reached its planned exploratory depth of 504 metres, with Borehole Magnetic Resonance (BMR) logging completed and the production well now designed. Its companion, RT-RG26-PW001, is down to 254 metres and still going. Two active rigs, one well already logged and designed for production — that's a project moving from concept toward defining what the aquifer can actually deliver, and BMR data is exactly what you need to characterize a brine system.

The risk: reaching depth and completing logging says nothing yet about lithium grade or flow rates, and brine economics live and die on those numbers.
