Li-FT Launched a 39,000-Metre Assault on Its Québec Lithium Complex
Li-FT Power (TSXV: LIFT; ASX: LFT) isn't dipping a toe in — it's going in with both boots. The company has commenced its 2026 exploration program at the Adina-Galinée Lithium Project (AGLP) in Québec: 163 diamond drill holes totalling 38,970 metres across a consolidated spodumene pegmatite complex.
What makes AGLP notable is how it came together. Li-FT stitched the land package into one contiguous story through its 2026 acquisition of Winsome Resources plus agreements with Azimut Exploration and SOQUEM — turning fragmented claims into a single, drill-ready complex. And it isn't stopping there: work has also kicked off at the company's Cancet, Tilly, Nottaway and Sirmac-Clapier lithium properties.
The upside case is scale in the right place. A large-scale maiden program on a freshly consolidated package in a premier Canadian lithium jurisdiction gives Li-FT a lot of drill bits testing spodumene ground at once — and a lot of shots at meaningful hits.
The bear read: nearly 39,000 metres burns real cash, and consolidation doesn't guarantee the assays cooperate.
Big package, big program, drills turning.
