Kutcho Is Drilling a Feasibility-Stage Copper-Zinc Deposit in BC
Feasibility-stage drilling is where the derisking happens — and Kutcho Copper just fired up the rigs.
Kutcho Copper has commenced its 2026 drill program at its feasibility-stage copper-zinc project in northwest British Columbia. This isn't grassroots exploration; a feasibility-stage asset is one that's already advanced far down the study path, meaning every hole now is drilled with a development decision in view.
The upside case: copper and zinc are exactly the metals the electrification and infrastructure themes are built on, and British Columbia is a tier-one mining address. Drilling into an advanced project can extend, upgrade or better define what's already there — the kind of work that supports a project marching toward a build decision. In a market hungry for base-metal supply, a feasibility-stage story in BC stands out.
The bear case: feasibility-stage projects still face the toughest hurdles of all — financing, permitting and construction capital — and drilling results can disappoint.
Kutcho is turning the drill on with the finish line in sight. Watch the assays.
