908 Devices Beats Q2 Consensus, Raises FY2026 Low End to $68M on 23% Revenue Growth
908 Devices Inc. (Nasdaq: MASS) reported Q2 2026 results on August 11, 2026, beating analyst consensus of $15.374 million in quarterly revenue and posting 23% year-over-year growth, per the company's August 11, 2026 release on Business Wire.
The company simultaneously tightened its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $68.0 million–$70.0 million, raising the low end from the prior $67.0 million floor. That range represents 21% to 25% growth against 2025 revenue, per the same release.
"We delivered another strong quarter, growing revenue 23% year-over-year, while narrowing our Adjusted EBITDA loss by more than half compared to a year ago," said Kevin J. Knopp, CEO and Co-founder, in the August 11, 2026 Business Wire release.
As of June 30, 2026, 908 Devices held $101.5 million in cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities, with no debt outstanding, per the August 11, 2026 Business Wire release. That figure already reflects $13.5 million deployed in Q2 for the acquisition of NIRLAB SA, partially offset by $3.5 million received from the release of escrow tied to a prior desktop divestiture.
The NIRLAB SA deal, announced in Q1 2026, is positioned to broaden 908's reach into the lower-cost, widely-deployable segment of the narcotics detection market while adding recurring revenue opportunity through software subscriptions, per the company's release.
On the product side, the company's newest FTIR instrument, VipIR, surpassed its 100th unit shipped since launch, per the August 11, 2026 Business Wire release. U.S. state and local customers represented more than half of revenue in the quarter, per the same release.
Management hosted a conference call before market open on August 11, 2026 at 8:30 am Eastern Time to discuss the results.
What's next per the filing: execution against the updated $68.0–$70.0 million full-year range, integration of NIRLAB SA, and continued VipIR unit deployment.
